Si tienen a una maravillosa pianista de Islandia, con una importante experiencia en la escena del jazz de New York, y ella decide utilizar sus propios arreglos de cinco canciones tradicionales Islandesas como material para un álbum, bueno, están locos, o son la talentosa pianista de jazz Sunna Gunnlaugs.

If you have a wonderful pianist from Iceland, with an important experience in the New York's jazz scene, and she decides to use her own arrangements of five Icelandic traditional songs as material for an album, well, you're crazy, or you're the talented jazz piano player Sunna Gunnlaugs.
In ""Songs from Iceland"" (Sunny Sky Records, 2009), there's beauty from the first note to the last, in fast and slow tempos, five amazing pieces to understand why music lovers are paying more and more attention these days to Sunna Gunnlaugs music.
And, as only intelligent band leaders can do, she's in the best company, Tony Malaby on tenor sax, Drew Gress on acoustic bass, and Scott McLemore on drums.
