Ingmar Bergman: un día nublado para los amantes del cine / Ingmar Bergman: a cloudy day for film lovers (*)

A strange thing, Ingmar Bergman first big success was in Argentina, yes, and it's not a fake story, the usual "we did it first". When Ingmar Bergman was unknown for most of the world, here, specially around Corrientes Avenue movie theaters, he was in the air, everywhere, and the film lovers were really excited about his new point of view.
Today, without Ingmar Bergman between us, we're art orphans, because in this mad world his movies are, yes, still are, and will be forever, fresh water in a horrible and lonely desert, today more than ever, when the good movies are strange and precious creatures, today, his departure is pure sadness.
I've got three favorites the "Det Sjunde inseglet" / "The Seventh Seal" (1957), "Djävulens öga" / "The Devil's Eye" (1960) and Fanny och Alexander" / "Fanny and Alexander" (1982), but, that's my heart, check his full filmography, nothing close to an empty statement, each little second of his works can talk about the man, a dream, and of course, an important part of film history.
I'm not too familiar with his theater experience, except some little notes, from his own pen, and some videos from his presentations, I can't talk too much about it.
One thing I know, there's no goobye for such wonderful artists, his art it's here to stay. Thanks Ingmar Bergman, thanks for your movies.

Today, Woody Allen about Ingmar Bergman: "He told me that he was afraid that he would die on a very, very sunny day and I can only hope it was overcast and he got the weather he wanted".
