Eduardo Lagos, puedo recordar un fantástico programa de radio, junto con Manolo Juárez y Alfredo Radoszynski, tres buenos amigos compartiendo su amor por la mejor música, sin importar el género o la etiqueta, y puedo decir lo mismo sobre la música de Eduardo Lagos, tocando y componiendo siempre con una mente abierta y fresca, la única manera de mantener las raíces folklóricas vivitas y coleando.
Un verdadero talento en el piano, un compositor más allá de las palabras, "bebiendo" de toda clase de fuentes musicales, y gracias a una extensa y colorida carrera tenemos muchas grabaciones para disfrutar.
Quiero alentar a todos ustedes a leer el bello artículo escrito por Mauro Apicella en La Nación, no sólo con interesante información sobre la música de Eduardo Lagos, también con amables palabras sobre el mundo alrededor de su música.
Todo mi cariño para la familia y amigos de Eduardo Lagos, y gracias, gracias Eduardo, por traer nuestras raíces musicales de regreso a la superficie.


Eduardo Lagos, I can remember a fantastic radio show, along with Manolo Juárez and Alfredo Radoszynski, three good friends sharing their love for the best music, no matter the genre or label, and I can say the same about Eduardo Lagos music, playing and composing always with an open and fresh mind, the only way to keep the folkloric roots alive and kicking.
A real talent on the piano, a composer beyond words, "drinking" from all kind of musical sources, and thanks to a long and colorful career we've got a lot of recordings to enjoy.
I want to encourage all of you to read the beautiful article written by Mauro Apicella at La Nación, not only with interesting information about Eduardo Lagos music, also with kind words about the world around his music.
All my love to Eduardo Lagos family and friends, and thanks, thanks Eduardo, for bringing our musical roots to the surface.

No hay forma de entender la historia del humor gráfico en Argentina sin Andrés Cascioli, y al mismo tiempo, no pueden entender la dura lucha contra la dictadura militar (1976 - 1983) sin la fantástica creación de Andrés Cascioli, la revista "Humor".
Atrevidos reportajes, ni siquiera incluídos en los mayores periódicos de Argentina, estaban en cada edición de "Humor", la revista fue mucho más inteligente y agresiva que un previo trabajo de Andrés Cascioli, la revista "Satiricón".
Y hoy, cuando existe tal falta de humor creativo, extraño las creaciones de Andrés Cascioli más que nunca.
El tiempo pondrá sus bellos esfuerzos en perspectiva, y más y más gente conocerá sobre este tipo creativo, un silencioso luchador, con su humilde pluma, contra los grandes horrores de la Argentina.
Mi cariño para la familia y amigos de Andrés Cascioli, y gracias, gracias Andrés por traer de regreso el color a nuestras vidas...

There's no way to understand the history of graphic humour in Argentina without Andrés Cascioli, and at the same time, you can't understand the hard fight against the military dictatorship (1976 - 1983) without Andrés Cascioli's fantastic creation, the "Humor" magazine.
Bold interviews, not even included in Argentina's major newspapers, were in each "Humor" edition, the magazine was much more intelligent and agressive than a previous Andrés Cascioli's work, the "Satiricón" magazine.
And today, when there's such a lack of creative humour, I miss Andrés Cascioli's creations more than ever.
Time will put his beautiful efforts in perspective, and more and more people will know about this creative guy, a silent fighter, with his humble pen, against the biggest horrors in Argentina's history.
My love to Andrés Cascioli's family and friends, and thanks, thanks Andrés for bringing back the color to our lives...

Jazz, pero por supuesto también algunos viajes hacia territorio musical desconocido, siempre bajo la influencia magica, y el talento, de Enrique Norris y Paula Shocrón.

If you didn't faint yet with such good news, you're real tough, jokes aside, these two musicians play together from time to time, eventually as a duo, showing why they've got the respect and love from musicians and audience everywhere.

El último lunes por la noche estuve en Notorious (Av. Callao 966, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina) para escuchar a una de las bandas más interesantes en la escena del jazz local, el Carlos Alvarez Trío.
Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas de las imagenes de esa noche, una brillante noche musical gracias al talento de Carlos Álvarez (contrabajo y composiciones), Rodrigo Domínguez (saxo tenor), y Hernán Mandelman (batería), por la música presten atención a euskir's txoko por nuevas presentaciones en vivo, a la vuelta de la esquina, y la oportunidad de tener la magia de este jazz también en un disco muy pronto.
Dspués de todo, estoy feliz escuchando nueva, y fantástica música, y le deseo al Carlos Alvarez Trío lo mejor, para un futuro que se será musicalmente maravilloso, para ellos, y también para todos nosotros.

Last monday night I was at Notorious (Av. Callao 966, Autonomic City of Buenos Aires, Argentina) to listen one of the most interesting bands in the local jazz scene, the Carlos Alvarez Trio.
I want to share with all of you some of the images from that night, a shiny musical night thanks to the talent from Carlos Alvarez (acoustic bass and compositions), Rodrigo Domínguez (tenor sax), and Hernán Mandelman (drums), for the music, pay attention to euskir's txoko for new live presentations, just around the corner, and the chance to have the magic of this jazz also in an album quite soon.
After all, I'm happy listening new, and fantastic music, and I wish the Carlos Alvarez Trio the best, for a future that I know will be musically wonderful, for them, and also for all of us.

I'd been talking in the last days about something that bothers me, the underrated artists, the forgotten ones, the great and unknown talented musicians, that time, and people, are leaving behind, no matter if the musician it's alive or dead.
So, my idea, to encourage all of you out there, music lovers, to keep your favorite artists close to your hearts, and ears, sharing their music with family and friends, and even trying to reach unknown people, sending messages to the radios, using internet.
Today, tomorrow, forever, we've got, will have, a great debt of gratitude with the artists, and would be a wonderful way to say thanks, thanks for the beautiful music in our lives...
