Ellos son bastante nuevos en la escena musical de está musicalmente efervescente Buenos Aires, y todos están tratando de ponerles una etiqueta. Rock, si, funk, si, alguna inspiración punk, pudiera ser, algo de jazz debajo de sus uñas, pueden encontrar eso si poseen un alma pura.

Entonces, no pierdan la oportunidad. Para ser honesto, no estoy pensando en etiquetas, ni siquiera si ellos usan ropa interior femenina bajo sus trajes azules y "rostros temibles", como siempre, en el pasado, presente y futuro: la música es el asunto.

They're quite new in the music scene of this musically effervescent Buenos Aires, and everyone are trying to put a label on them. Rock, yes, funk, yes, some punk inspiration, could be, some jazz under their fingernails, you can find that if you own a pure soul.

El jazz en Chile no se detiene / Jazz in Chile doesn't stop

El último fin de semana Lost 4 estuvo en el "Herbie Club", pero esta vez el show será en otro de los grandes sitios para escuchar buen jazz en Santiago, capital de Chile: Thelonious (Bombero Nuñez 336 - Barrio Bellavista).
El miércoles 23, agosto, a las 22:30 hs. Melissa Aldana (saxo tenor), Alvaro Zavala Chacón (guitarra), Leo Mandujano Madariaga (batería) y Alonso Duran Cuiza (contrabajo) estarán juntos nuevamente para compartir un momento de buen jazz, esencialmente, buena música.

Conozco a Electronic Intifada desde hace un par de años, y por su esfuerzo por contar la verdadera historia en Palestina, ellos merecen un sitio en mis enlaces. Ahora tienen un grandioso, especialmente para un fanático del RSS como yo, servicio de RSS en su página en internet. Desde hace mucho tiempo quiero agregar a mis enlaces favoritos al blog de Jazzero, no estamos siempre en el mismo sendero, pero siento que la idea general no está muy lejos de euskir's txoko.
Una cosa que quiero arreglar es esta: Konfabulator no está más allí afuera, bueno, no con ese nombre, porque ahora es el Yahoo! Widget Engine. Gracias al Apple Dashboard estoy utilizando sólo un widget del Yahoo! Widget Engine, entonces mantendré el link general de Apple, pero no el Konfabulator / Yahoo! Widget Engine.
Otro asunto importante, mi amiga Charlotte Deaver no está aquí, y tiene que estar, con su Bolts of Melody.
Y por último, pero no menos importante, un nuevo blog está creciendo: Ventana de ideas, aún sin un sólo artículo, pero lo se, algo realmente interesante va a suceder allí.
