El mundo huele a mierda, perdón mundo, perdón mierda, pero esa es toda la verdad.
Bush está pensando, con su compañero en el crimen, Dr. Mefisto Cheney, mejores maneras de quitarnos más horas de sueño, un largo camino de desastres por realizar.
Huracanes esperando para golpear a este solitario mundo, Evo Morales tratando de poner a Bolivia en el camino correcto, con casi todo el mundo en su contra, aún cuando está haciendo lo mejor por su pueblo, lo mismo para el presidente de Venezuela, mi "amigo" Hugo Chávez, ellos son los malvados para la siniestra hermandad de los Estados Unidos y el Reino Unido. Y no podemos olvidar a Irán, ellos son la nueva "bomba de humo", para los estúpidos.
No los amigos Israelíes, matando gente en Palestina todos los días, o algún "amigable" gobierno árabe...
Y el mundo va, con el presidente aquí, Néstor Kirchner, jugando el juego de la "gran esperanza blanca", no para mi, sólo otro gobierno de derecha, con un mejor disfraz esta vez.
Y sí, el aroma es horrible, algo allí fuera está realmente podrido.
Pero, algunas personas están peleando, pequeñas batallas, grandes batallas, ¿nombres?: Charlotte, Enrique, Ricardo, Noemí, Estela, Laura, Gustavo, Mariví, Bill, Gabriela, María Angélica, Donna, Liz, mi vieja amiga Liz...
Gente de todos los días, como tu y como yo. Entonces, aún en la peor pesadilla, allí, escondida, existe una pequeña esperanza.

Everyday people, like you and me. So, even in the worst nightmare, there, hidden, there's a little hope.

Adamantino: nuevo disco, buena música / Adamantino: new record, good music

Repentinamente, algo de nueva música llegó a mi, en una manera ciertamente extraña. La prensa está lentamente descubriendo a Adamantino, una banda a la que no quiero marcar con una etiqueta.
Su música es profunda, trabajando bajo la superficie de nuestros sentimientos.
Si están buscando algo fuera de lo común, con buenos músicos detrás de cada instrumento, música que no encontrarán facilmente en el mundo hoy en día, les puedo dar una pista: este viernes por la noche en San Telmo, Buenos Aires, en Tangoar (Defensa 1344). Un tiempo para la presentación de su nuevo disco: "No me sueltes". Estaré esperando, entre sus maravillosos sonidos, una de mis favoritas: "Kimono".

Suddenly, some new music came to me, in a really strange way. The press it's slowly discovering Adamantino, a band I don't want to mark with a label.
Their music is deep, working beneath the surface of our feelings.

A time for the presentation of their new record: "No me sueltes" ("Don't let me go", in a fast and easy to understand translation, or if you prefer, in a more romantic way: ""Don't you loose me"). Es imposible ignorar la relación entre Alejandra Boero, y la historia del teatro en Argentina. Co fundadora de el Nuevo Teatro (en los cincuenta), una importante semilla en el desarrollo de el teatro independiente, en esta siempre culturalmente caliente Buenos Aires.
En los setenta, siempre tratando de construir un nuevo territorio para las generaciones por venir, ella fundó Andamio 90, un teatro y escuela de arte dramático.
Es triste decir, que todo esto llega a la superficie porque ella ha muerto, fue el último jueves por la noche.
Para la mayoría de nosotros, ella será, siempre, un sinónimo de una hermosa palabra, escrita muchas veces en este desordenado tributo: teatro.

It's impossible to ignore the link between Alejandra Boero, and the history of the theater in Argentina. Co founder of the Nuevo Teatro (in the fifties), an important seed in the development of the independent theater, in this always cultural heat Buenos Aires.

Siempre es grandioso descubrir gente haciendo cosas buenas, especialmente en una algunas veces conflictiva forma de arte arte: la fotografía.

It's always great to discover people doing good things, specially in a sometimes conflictive form of art: the phography.

Euskadi: la calma está aquí / Euskadi: the calm is here

Bueno, aún después del incendio en Barañáin (Navarra), y el violento incidente en Getxo (Vizcaya), algunas voces inteligentes están trayendo algo de calma a Euskadi. Batasuna, el Gobierno Español, casi todos, excepto por el PP (Partido Popular) y el Presidente de Navarra, Miguel Sanz, están trabajando por el proceso de paz.
Lo que quiere el PP (Partido Popular), es un misterio, especialmente cuando pueden ver a un político totalmente desacreditado, Angel Acebes (sí, del PP), hablando, mezclando tontas y peligrosas frases.
De todas formas, el proceso de paz está vivito y coleando.



Well, even after the fire in Barañáin (Navarra), and the violent incident in Getxo (Vizcaya), some intelligent voices are bringing some calm to Euskadi. Batasuna, the Spanish Government, almost everyone, except for the PP (Partido Popular) and the President of Navarra, Miguel Sanz, are working for the peace process.
What the PP (Partido Popular) really wants, it's a mistery, specially when you can see a totally discredited politician, Angel Acebes (yes, from the PP), talking, mixing nonsense and dangerous sentences.
Anyway, the peace process is alive and kicking.

La última semana Mariano Rajoy estuvo haciendo olas sobre la posición de Navarra después del cese del fuego de ETA, es tiempo de pensar quien está representando los roles principales contra la voluntad de los pueblos de Euskadi y España. ¿Es ETA o el PP?
