Noviembre 4, 2005 es un día especial para la celebración, gran inauguración y fiesta privada, a beneficio de WELL in the DESERT, la organización del Valle de Coachella, que diariamente alimenta a las personas sin hogar. Junto con la exhibición de los exquisitos impresos y pinturas de Torrie Groening, tendrán la posibilidad de adquirir una edición especial limitada, firmada por la artista, de un libro de arte en miniatura. La mitad de lo recaudado será para WELL in the DESERT. La artista se encontrará presente para firmar el libro, AMUSE BOUCHE: AN ARTIST RESPONDS, que fue patrocinado para este evento por SWS/Anodyne 2.La maravillosa comida de los restaurantes del desierto Bellini’s, Peter’s at the Atrium,Pacifica, The Bistro at Fantasy Springs, and French Corner Café and Bakery y brindis con champaña. November 4, 2005 it's the day for a special celebration / grand opening event and private party to benefit WELL in the DESERT, the Coachella Valley’s organization that feeds the homeless daily. Along with viewing Torrie Groening exquisite prints and paintings, you will have the chance to purchase a special limited edition miniature art book signed by the artist. (Half of all proceeds go to WELL).
The artist will be present to sign the book, AMUSE BOUCHE: AN ARTIST RESPONDS, which was sponsored by SWS/Anodyne 2 for this event.
The wonderful food from desert restaurants Bellini’s, Peter’s at the Atrium,Pacifica, The Bistro at Fantasy Springs, and French Corner Café and Bakery and champagne toasts. Torrie Groening has her press in the gallery and will be pulling prints to demonstrate the demanding art of printmaking.
Incredible young harpist Dr. Vanessa Sheldon will play the Celtic harp and also featured is work by Tony and Karen Barone including food-inspired jewellery, a wine glass coffee table and huge 3-D portraits of Chefs Julia Child and Vatel. Also featured is burlwood sculpture by Micha Von Doring and steel and stone sculpture by Steve Webster out in the courtyard.
