¿El fin de la radio en internet? / The end of the internet radio?

La buena gente de Pandora ya no está en mi computadora, aún cuando yo se que ellos quieren estar aquí, pero la presión sobre los derechos musicales fue un golpe directo al rostro de este gran servicio. Ahora ellos sólo pueden hacer el trabajo dentro de los Estados Unidos.
Un e-mail de Tim Westergren (fundador de Pandora), y algunos perturbadores artículos en varios medios, fueron la luz roja para comenzar a sacudir mi cabeza sobre esta nueva realidad, porque no es solamente sobre Pandora, es sobre la totalidad de la radio en internet.

En este momento existe un interesante proyecto llamado el Acta de Igualdad de la Radio en Internet (Internet Radio Equality Act), en la Cámara de Representantes, en los Estados Unidos.
El viernes, Mayo 11, una versión del Senado de la ley fue introducida por los Senadores Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Sam Brownback (R-KS). Esto es algo bueno, pero es sólo el comienzo.

The good people from Pandora it's no longer in my computer, even when I know they want to be here, but the pressure about music royalties was a punch right into this great service face. Now they only can do the job inside the United States.
An e-mail from Tim Westergren (Pandora's founder), and some disturbing articles in several media, were the red light to start to shake my head about this new reality, because it's not only about Pandora, it's about the whole internet radio.

Right now there's an interesting project called the Internet Radio Equality Act, at the House of Representatives, in the United States..
On Friday, May 11th, a Senate version of the bill was introduced by Senators Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Sam Brownback (R-KS): www.savenetradio.org/071510-wyden.pdf. This is a good thing, but just the beginning.
