No hay una metáfora vacía en el título, si tienen la suerte suficiente para escuchar a esta nueva banda, ustedes también estarán escuchando el sonido de uno de los músicos más interesantes de la escena del jazz local: Carlos Álvarez.
Ahora con su propio proyecto, porque él no es desconocido para la mayoría de los amantes de la buena música, fue una pieza importante, y aún lo es, en muchas otras bandas.
Carlos Álvarez (contrabajo) estará compartiendo su nuevo trabajo con nosotros, y por supuesto con los otros miembros del Carlos Álvarez Trío, Rodrigo Domínguez (saxo) y Hernán Mandelman (batería), dos grandes socios musicales, entonces, esta es una invitación para todos, lunes por la noche, junio 1, 2009, 21:30 hs., en Notorious (Av. Callao 966, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina), y nuevamente el lunes 8, mismo lugar y hora.
Nueva música, de grandes músicos, entregando ideas frescas, jazz como vehículo, pero, ellos están yendo más allá, y en un mundo envuelto más y más profundo en una piscina de mediocridad artística, necesitamos apoyar a aquellos que están tomando el camino difícil, para interpretar la mejor música.


There's not an empty metaphor in the title, if you're lucky enough to listen this new band, you'll be listening too the sound from one of the most interesting musicians in the local jazz scene: Carlos Álvarez.
Now with his own project, because he's not unknown for most good music lovers, he was an important piece, and he still is, in many other bands.
Carlos Álvarez (acoustic bass) will be sharing his new work with us, and of course with the Carlos Álvarez Trio other members, Rodrigo Domínguez (sax) and Hernán Mandelman (drums), two great musical partners, so, this is an invitation for everyone, monday night, june 1, 2009, 9:30 pm, at Notorious (Av. Callao 966, Autonomic City of Buenos Aires, Argentina), and again on monday 8, same place and hour.
New music, from great musicians, delivering fresh ideas, jazz as the vehicle, but, they're going beyond, and in a world involved deeper and deeper in a pool of artistic mediocrity, we need to support the ones that are taking the hard road, to perform the best music.
