Música de su primer disco, “Lucecita “, editado por sello Buri Records, y música nueva, que formara parte del próximo / Music from their first album, "Lucecita", published by Buri Records label, and new music, to be part from the next one.
Músicos Invitados / Guest musicians: Ramiro Flores (saxos / saxophones ), Alberto Ibarguren (samplers).
Nacido en Barcelona en el 2005, pero construido en Buenos Aires desde el 2006, Lucecita es música y más allá.
Imágenes, algunas veces distorsionadas por la memoria, viajes, inexistentes tal vez. El trío, ampliado por varios efectos (loops, samplers, grabador de voces, cajas de música, sonajeros, pianos de juguete), y utilizando estos objetos para pintar pequeños retratos sonoros. Más allá de las elecciones estéticas, el objetivo de Lucecita es pasar a través de diferenteas paisajes sonoros utilizando la quietud y la inquietud rítmica, "sónica" y tímbrica, como lenguaje para retratar una personal visión del mundo.

Born in Barcelona in 2005, but built in Buenos Aires since 2006, Lucecita is music and beyond.
Images, sometimes distorted by memory, travels, nonexistent perhaps. The trio, extended by several effects (loops, samplers, voice recorder, music boxes, rattles, toy pianos), and using all these objects to paint little sound portraits. Beyond de aesthetic choices, the objective from Lucecita
is to pass through different sound landscapes using the calm and the rythmical, "sonic" and the timbre restlessness, as language to portray a personal vision of the world.

Tengo un e-mail del pianista Luis Lugo (fundador del proyecto Afro Cuban Concert Music), el estará esta noche, noviembre 3, 2007, 21.30 hs., en el XI Festival de Jazz "Santiago Grande Castelli" (Rosario, Argentina), en La Comedia Teatro Municipal (Mitre y Ricardone).
El nombre del espectáculo, "La jungla - Lo real maravilloso". Espero, con un poco más de tiempo, tener otras cosas para compartir con todos ustedes sobre este interesante artista de Cuba, hasta entonces, disfruten la belleza del show de esta noche.


I've got an e-mail from the pianist Luis Lugo (founder of the project Afro Cuban Concert Music), he'll be tonight, november 3, 2007, 9:30 pm, at the XI "Santiago Grande Castelli" Jazz Festival (Rosario, Argentina), in La Comedia Municipal Theater (Mitre and Ricardone).

Estoy hablando demasiado, sobre "talento" en esta ocasión, pero esta no es la clase de "talento cerrado", es algo que podemos disfrutar profundamente, y todos están invitados.

Roxana Amed: excelente música y también buenas noticias... / Roxana Amed: excellent music and good news too...

Después de la exitosa presentación del último viernes, Roxana Amed estará nuevamente en Notorious (Callao 966, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires), mañana, viernes 2, noviembre 2007, 21:30 hs.
Su hermosa voz, su guitarra, y la habitual buena compañía de Claudio Iuliano en guitarras, Fernando Galimany en contrabajo y Mario Gusso en percusión.
Pero eso no es todo, en noviembre 8, 2007, ella estará en el XI Festival de Jazz "Santiago Grande Castelli" (Rosario, Argentina), y en noviembre 9 y 10 en Córdoba, el 9 en el CPC (Centro de Participación Comunal) Centro Cultural Arguello (5021 Avenida Rafael Nuñez, Córdoba, Argentina), y el 10 en Fragueiro 2020 (Mariano Fragueiro 2020, Bº Alta Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina).
Al mismo tiempo Roxana Amed está trabajando en la realización de un video musical de la canción "Georgia Lee" (compuesta por Tom Waits y Kathleen Brennan, e incluida en el álbum de Roxana Amed "Entremundos"- S-Music, 2006), y como en el álbum estará León Gieco también en el video. La versión en español de la canción fue realizada por Roxana Amed y Pedro Aznar.
Y aún hay más. En diciembre, un DVD será grabado con canciones de "Limbo" (EMI, 2004) y "Entremundos" (S-Music, 2006), con material inédito e invitados especiales, todo esto en un concierto especial, algo que no podemos esperar para disfrutar.
Y una más, "para el camino", "Limbo" (EMI, 2004) y "Entremundos" (S-Music, 2006) serán editados y lanzados nuevamente por S-Music, y distribuidos por Sony BMG.
Como pueden ver muchas buenas noticias, gracias al gran esfuerzo de Roxana Amed para entregar buen arte para todos nosotros, pero, con el talento involucrado, sabemos que ese esfuerzo vale la pena.
