Pienso que un género musical puede sobrevivir gracias al oxígeno de diferentes fuentes, especialmente otros estilos musicales, manteniendo la esencia, pero siempre con una puerta abierta a las buenas ideas.
Con esas palabras estoy bastante cerca del espíritu de
Franzo en la presentación del último viernes en el
Teatro de la Cova (Avenida del Libertador 13900, Martínez, Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Franzo canta, y toca la guitarra, un muy buen guitarrista, y gracias al cielo no otro interprete pirotécnico. En cada canción pueden encontrar una línea melódica, aún en los ritmos más rápidos, nada de largos y aburridos solos, un agradable balance entre el arte de todos los miembros de esta joven banda.
En su material, una "letra de tango" dentro de un sonido de rock, como "Che moneda", recuerdos del "barrio" con "Tierra de mi", un homenaje a
Jimi Hendrix, tocando algunos compases de "Little wing", un segmento especial dedicado a
Astor Piazzolla ("Adiós Nonino") y Ariel Ramírez ("Alfonsina y el mar"), ambas canciones en guitarra española, enseñándonos que
Franzo no es sólo un gran "guitarrista eléctrico".
Un momento para cada una de las catorce canciones incluidas en su último álbum: "
Franzo", con Juan Saravia en teclados (agregando algunos colores aquí y allí), Lucas Salazar en batería (entusiasmo y el pulso correcto), Luly Chouy en voces (hermosa voz, profunda y nasal, encantadora), Matías Santoro en segunda guitarra (inteligente para utilizar su espacio), Nicolás Courreges en bajo (muy melódico, y como
Franzo, también en los tempos más rápidos), Gastón "el Colo" en percussion (más matices, una interesante contribución al sonido de la banda) y Santiago Crocci en instrumentos adicionales (dedicado a sumar texturas, aún con los instrumentos más simples).
Como pueden ver, una banda con una sólida interacción creativa.
Y, no quiero dejar fuera algo importante, el maravilloso sonido gracias a los esfuerzo de la gente del
Teatro de la Cova (Avenida del Libertador 13900, Martínez, Buenos Aires, Argentina), un lugar que estoy "redescubriendo" en estos días

Franzo sings, and plays guitar, a very good guitar player, and thanks to heaven not another pyrotechnic performer. In each song you can find a melodic line, even in the fastest rhythms, no long boring solos, a nice balance between the art from all the members of this young band.
In his material, a "tango lyric" inside a rock sound, as "Che moneda", memories from the "barrio" (I can translate this as "neighborhood", but that' not the same) with "Tierra de mi" ("Land from me"), a tribute to
Jimi Hendrix, playing some bars from "Little wing", and a special segment dedicated to
Astor Piazzolla ("Adiós Nonino") and Ariel Ramírez ("Alfonsina y el mar"), both songs on spanish guitar, teaching us that
Franzo it's not only a great "electric guitar player".

And, I don't want to let out an important thing, the wonderful sound thanks to the efforts from the people from
De la Cova Theater (Del Libertador Avenue 13900, Martínez, Buenos Aires, Argentina), a place I'm rediscovering these days.
